About Us

The Houston TheaterMob aims to unite performing arts supporters throughout Houston with coordinated group attendances of Theater District performances and accompanying social events, leading to increased attendance and season participation across Houston’s performing arts societies, strengthening the Community as a whole.

David Moyer

Founder, Chair

A classically trained trumpet player and native Houstonian, David’s appreciation for the performing arts dates back over twenty years.  Since returning to Houston he’s been active in multiple ‘young professionals in the arts’ groups and has been an ardent supporter of many of their parent organizations.  Outside of the fine arts he enjoys live music, volunteering with the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo, hunting, deep sea fishing, and snowboarding.  By day David is a Reservoir Engineer with an undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering and a Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, both from Texas A&M University.
